The Menu (Mark Mylod, 2022) is een zwarte komedie waarin horror, humor en spanning worden afgewisseld met fantastisch eten. Het verhaal speelt zich af in een peperduur restaurant op een afgelegen eiland, waar 14 gasten de food-beleving van hun leven gaan meemaken. We volgen met name Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy), de partner van foodie Tyler, die haar op het laatste moment uitnodigde voor dit exclusieve diner. Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) kookt obsessief met lokale ingrediënten en maakt originele gerechten. Het menu bouwt langzaam op van raadselachtig via bizar naar een persoonlijke afrekening aan het adres van alle snobistische gasten.
