Rotterdam Art Week in het Keilepand
Tijdens Rotterdam Art Week bruist het Keilepand van ’s ochtends tot ’s avonds. Dit jaar is er nóg meer te ontdekken — én te proeven.
Laat je inspireren door Haute Photographie in de KeileZaal, die van woensdag 25 tot en met zondag 29 maart 2026 haar deuren opent met de speciale focus “Wild & Earth”. Natuur en dier staan centraal in deze editie, waarin acht toonaangevende fotografen de majestueuze schoonheid van wildlife, indrukwekkende landschappen en kwetsbare ecosystemen vastleggen. Een tentoonstelling die esthetische kracht combineert met maatschappelijke urgentie.
Daarnaast is er opnieuw een boeklancering van Fresh Eyes. FRESH EYES x Hungry Eye, een wereldwijde open call, nodigt fotografen uit alle hoeken van de wereld uit om hun visie en expertise in hun fotografische discipline te presenteren. De geselecteerde talenten worden gebundeld in een sfeervolle softcover-publicatie — een bijzondere uitgave voor liefhebbers van hedendaagse fotografie.
Voor deze editie van Rotterdam Art Week verhuist KeileContemporary naar de kelder van het pand, namelijk de nieuwe nachtclub Export, met de tentoonstelling “And Hope It Survives the Introduction Night xd”. Deze groepstentoonstelling brengt jonge, in Nederland gevestigde kunstenaars samen rond het thema vluchtige ervaringen. De werken benaderen dit onderwerp vanuit zowel persoonlijke als gedeelde perspectieven en vormen samen een constellatie van tijd- en ruimtebeleving, met aandacht voor de maatschappelijke context waarin hedendaagse ervaringen plaatsvinden.
Op de begane grond bij Cult=us=Gallery zijn opnieuw innovatieve en duurzame kunstwerken te zien. Vanaf 26 maart is het restaurant bovendien al vanaf de lunch geopend, waarbij Levito van Deelkeuken Food Union Rotterdam de catering verzorgt.
KeileBistro: het culinaire hart
Tussen alle tentoonstellingen door vormt de gloednieuwe KeileBistro op de eerste verdieping het culinaire hart van het pand — een plek om neer te strijken voor lunch, diner of een goede borrel en alles wat je hebt gezien even te laten bezinken.
Op het menu staan producten uit het pand zelf: zoetigheden van Shubies, bubbels van de urban winery en hapjes van chef Kelvin.
Ontdek ook het KeileDistrict
Ook buiten het Keilepand is er volop beweging. In het KeileDistrict ontvouwt zich een van de meest geconcentreerde programma’s van de week. Binnen een paar straten wissel je moeiteloos tentoonstellingen, performances, open studio’s en culinaire hotspots af.
Zo kun je bij het Katoenhuis terecht voor Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, bij de Keilewerf binnenkijken bij creatieve makers of zelf aan de slag gaan, en bij Brutus de bijzondere expositie Autonomous bezoeken.
Voor het eerst opent ook Roodkapje haar deuren tijdens Rotterdam Art Week en viert dat samen met Brutus met een feest. Daarnaast kun je in de Voedseltuin Rotterdam deelnemen aan een bijzonder voorjaarsritueel.

Rotterdam Art Week at the Keilepand
During Rotterdam Art Week, the Keilepand buzzes with activity from morning until late evening. This year, there is even more to discover — and to taste.
Be inspired by Haute Photographie in the KeileZaal, open from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 March 2026, with the special focus “Wild & Earth.” Nature and wildlife take center stage in this edition, where eight leading photographers capture the majestic beauty of wildlife, striking landscapes, and fragile ecosystems. The exhibition combines aesthetic power with a sense of social urgency.
There will also be another book launch of Fresh Eyes. FRESH EYES x Hungry Eye, a global open call, invites photographers from around the world to present their vision and expertise within their photographic discipline. The selected talents are brought together in a beautifully designed softcover publication — a special edition for lovers of contemporary photography.
For this edition of Rotterdam Art Week, KeileContemporary moves to the basement of the building, in the new nightclub Export, with the exhibition “And Hope It Survives the Introduction Night xd.” This group exhibition brings together young artists based in the Netherlands around the theme of fleeting experiences. Approaching the topic from both personal and shared perspectives, the works form a constellation of experiences of time and space, reflecting the broader social context in which contemporary experiences unfold.
On the ground floor at Cult=us=Gallery, innovative and sustainable artworks will once again be on display. From 26 March, the restaurant will also open for lunch, with catering provided by Levito from Deelkeuken Food Union Rotterdam.
KeileBistro: the culinary heart
In between exhibitions, the brand-new KeileBistro on the first floor forms the culinary heart of the building — a place to settle in for lunch, dinner, or a good drink while reflecting on everything you’ve seen.
The menu features products from within the building itself: sweet treats from Shubies, sparkling wines from the urban winery, and bites by chef Kelvin.

There is plenty happening beyond the Keilepand as well. In the KeileDistrict, one of the most concentrated programs of the week unfolds. Within just a few streets, you can easily move between exhibitions, performances, open studios, and culinary hotspots.
At the Katoenhuis you can experience Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, at the Keilewerf you can visit creative makers or join in yourself, and at Brutus you can see the remarkable exhibition Autonomous.
For the first time, Roodkapje will also open its doors during Rotterdam Art Week and will celebrate the occasion together with Brutus with a party. In addition, you can take part in a special spring ritual at the Voedseltuin Rotterdam.
