Tijdens BioBlitz010 2026 brengen inwoners, experts en natuurliefhebbers samen de biodiversiteit van de Rotterdamse stad en haven in kaart. Dit jaar organiseren De Urbanisten en De Voedseltuin de tweede telling in getijdenpark Keilehaven.
Hoe werkt het? We leggen de waarnemingen direct vast in de app ObsIdentify, zodat de resultaten meteen bruikbaar zijn voor onderzoek en beleid. Dit geeft ons waardevol inzicht in hoe de lokale flora en fauna zich ontwikkelen
In de aanloop naar de zoöp gebiedscoöperatie Keilekwartier zijn deze observaties een eerste stap in het erkennen dat wij mensen onderdeel zijn van het ecosysteem van de rivier. Het is bovendien hét moment om de start van het groeiseizoen te vieren en te laten zien dat de mens, als nuttige soort, kan bijdragen aan de regeneratie van de natuur.

Tijd en duur: vanaf 09:30 en duur is 2,5 uur. Tussendoor meedoen kan natuurlijk ook.

Join the BioBlitz010 in the Keilehaven tidal park on Friday 22 May!
During BioBlitz010 2026, residents, experts and nature enthusiasts come together to map the biodiversity of Rotterdam’s city and port. This year, De Urbanisten and De Voedseltuin are organising the second survey in the Keilehaven tidal park.
How does it work? Observations are recorded directly in the ObsIdentify app, making the results immediately usable for research and policy. This provides valuable insight into how local flora and fauna are developing.
In the run-up to the zoöp of the Keilekwartier area cooperative, these observations form a first step in recognising that we, as humans, are part of the river’s ecosystem. It is also the perfect moment to celebrate the start of the growing season and to show how humans, as a beneficial species, can contribute to the regeneration of nature.
