Hoofdtentoonstelling Rotterdam Architectuur Maand
Bezoek de jaarlijkse tentoonstelling, met dit jaar als thema ‘De kracht van de gemeenschap’. KeileCollectief en AIR brengen in beeld hoe coöperatieve en collectieve modellen kunnen bijdragen aan een duurzame en toekomstbestendige stad.
De tentoonstelling verkent hoe gemeenschappen en coöperatieve organisatiemodellen, zoals de gebiedscoöperatie in het Keilekwartier, nieuwe perspectieven bieden op circulaire gebiedsontwikkeling. Centraal staat de vraag hoe gelijkwaardige samenwerking tussen overheid, marktpartijen, kennisinstellingen en bewoners kan leiden tot integrale oplossingen voor maatschappelijke en ruimtelijke opgaven. De tentoonstelling laat zien dat samenwerking geen bijzaak is, maar een voorwaarde.
Aan de hand van tientallen projecten is de tentoonstelling opgebouwd rond vier thema’s:

Toekomstplannen voor M4H
Deze thema’s gaan in op verschillende domeinen zoals bouwen en wonen, energie, mobiliteit, water en groen, afval en welzijn. Inspirerende voorbeelden uit de dagelijkse leefwereld bieden handvatten voor een integrale en holistische manier van werken aan onze stad en buurt. Daarbij wordt niet alleen vooruitgekeken, maar ook gekeken naar eerdere coöperatieve bewegingen uit het verleden. Staan we opnieuw aan de vooravond van een coöperatieve omslag?
Rotterdam als casus
Rotterdam vormt het vertrekpunt van de tentoonstelling. In de stad groeit een beweging van initiatieven en organisaties waarin collectief eigenaarschap en maatschappelijke waardecreatie centraal staan: van energie- en wooncoöperaties tot buurtorganisaties en werkcollectieven. Deze praktijken maken zichtbaar hoe stadmakers actief bijdragen aan een inclusieve en veerkrachtige stad.
Van lokaal naar nationaal
Naast Rotterdamse voorbeelden presenteert de tentoonstelling inspirerende coöperatieve modellen uit andere steden. Deze best practices tonen hoe collectiviteit wordt ingezet als motor voor verandering binnen domeinen als wonen, energie, zorg en gebiedsontwikkeling.
Tijdens de RA Maand wordt de tentoonstelling aangevuld met een verdiepend programma met netwerkbijeenkomsten, expertsessies en publieke gesprekken. Houd onze sociale kanalen in de gaten, en sluit aan!

Visit the annual exhibition, which this year centres on the theme The Power of Community. KeileCollectief and AIR present how cooperative and collective models can contribute to a sustainable and future-proof city.
The exhibition explores how communities and cooperative organisational models, such as the area cooperative in the Keilekwartier, offer new perspectives on circular urban development. At its core is the question of how equal collaboration between government, market parties, knowledge institutions and residents can lead to integrated solutions for social and spatial challenges. The exhibition demonstrates that collaboration is not a side issue, but a prerequisite.

These themes address various domains, including building and housing, energy, mobility, water and green space, waste and wellbeing. Inspiring examples from everyday life offer tools for an integrated and holistic approach to shaping our city and neighbourhoods. In doing so, the exhibition not only looks ahead, but also reflects on earlier cooperative movements from the past. Are we once again on the threshold of a cooperative transition?
Rotterdam as a Case Study
Rotterdam forms the starting point of the exhibition. Across the city, a growing movement of initiatives and organisations places collective ownership and social value creation at its centre: from energy and housing cooperatives to neighbourhood organisations and working collectives. These practices demonstrate how city-makers actively contribute to an inclusive and resilient city.
From Local to National
Alongside examples from Rotterdam, the exhibition presents inspiring cooperative models from other cities. These best practices show how collectivity is being used as a driver for change within fields such as housing, energy, healthcare and urban development.
