Na het succesvolle optreden Drowned… (in Sound) keert muziekorganisatie The Roads terug naar de KeileZaal met Echoes of War: een immersief concert rondom oorlog, herinneringen en vrede.
A sonic exploration of war, memory and peace
Echoes of War neemt het publiek mee in de emotionele nasleep van een oorlog. Niet de gebeurtenissen zelf staan centraal, maar wat blijft hangen: spanning, onrust, herinneringen en de zoektocht naar rust.
Het concert wordt live uitgevoerd door een strijkkwartet en elektronica. Naast muziek van componisten als William Byrd, Bryce Dessner en Antonio Vivaldi ontstaat een omhullende klankwereld die het publiek volledig meeneemt. Een speciaal ontworpen lichtontwerp versterkt deze zintuiglijke ervaring.
Echoes of War is een intense, maar betekenisvolle ervaring die raakt, bijblijft en uitnodigt tot reflectie — ook nadat het publiek de zaal heeft verlaten.
Over The Roads
The Roads is een muziekorganisatie die innovatieve muziekprojecten en bijzondere concerten ontwikkelt. Vanuit een interesse in het verkennen van de grenzen van muzikale creatie combineert The Roads verschillende muziekgenres, elektronische geluidswerelden en akoestische klanken in live performances.
De projecten van The Roads gaan verder dan een traditioneel concert. Geluid, beeld en ruimte komen samen in totaalervaringen die het publiek onderdompelen in een andere wereld en uitnodigen om muziek op een nieuwe manier te beleven.

Het concert duurt 1 uur en heeft geen pauze. Zaal open vanaf 19.30 uur.

After the successful performance Drowned… (in Sound), music organisation The Roads returns to KeileZaal with Echoes of War: an immersive concert exploring war, memory and peace.
A sonic exploration of war, memory and peace
Echoes of War takes the audience into the emotional aftermath of war. Rather than focusing on the events themselves, the concert explores what remains: tension, unrest, memories and the search for peace.
The concert is performed live by a string quartet and electronics. Alongside music by composers including William Byrd, Bryce Dessner and Antonio Vivaldi, an enveloping sound world draws the audience fully into the experience. A specially designed lighting concept further enhances this sensory experience.
Echoes of War is an intense yet meaningful experience that moves, lingers and invites reflection — even after the audience has left the venue.
About The Roads
The Roads is a music organisation that develops innovative music projects and unique concerts. With a focus on exploring the boundaries of musical creation, The Roads combines different musical genres, electronic soundscapes and acoustic sounds in live performances.
The Roads’ projects go beyond the traditional concert experience. Sound, visuals and space come together in immersive experiences that transport audiences to another world and invite them to experience music in a new way.

The concert lasts 1 hour and has no interval. Doors open at 19:30.
